Advice for nudist beaches please in RO and BG.

We're coming in Romania at the end of August from Greece.

So far i'm going to visit Eforie which i liked very much, last time.

Also we'll stop in Sunny beach nudist part .

What else do you suggest in RO and BG?

You can stop at Vama Veche, at the left side of the beach, there is a lot of nudists in this area. After that, you can also stop at 2 Mai, first street on the right after you enter the village, there is a place for nudists too (I called „my nudist home”). Costinești at Frenchman Gulf (Golful Francezului ro) is also a good beach for sunbathng naked. Eforie is ok as you aleready said. In the Danube Delta Protect Area you can try a awesome beach of Corbu and Vadu, but to acces in there you have to pay the tax for the area acces (not expensive, but you must have this payd when you enter in the beach area). You can also try the muud bath on the left side of the Eforie (when you came from Vama Veche) wich is well recognized good for health, and where you can sunbathing with no chlotes on too.

We're probably book in kostanza and as i see even 2 May which is the most far beach is 50min away.

BTW one question , as i red in the past , nudism is allowed under some canopy (the things they put in the beach to sit down to protect you from sun) , and  is that true for kostanza center too ?

I don't know about Cosntanța nudism at all. :) in Vama Veche you can find some, also în Eforie.

You won't find any nudist place in Constanta , there are some spots in the northern part of Mamaia, but just if you want problem with the policemens.

There is a nice traditional place in Costinesti in the south part and is calling Golful Francezului wich means The French Golf. The place is 1km South from Hotel Forum and were you can find a lot of cars together near the cliff, there is also a way to go down to this beach.

Another good place is 2 Mai, and the beach for nudists is on the southern part as well. Also Vama Veche is a good option especially if you are young, in the northern part near the beach bar wich is call Biblioteque or in the tents part wich is in the proximity of this beach bar in both sides, north or south. Also you can go in the southern part of Vama Veche if you prefer to be alone.

For me, the preferences are:

1. Costinesti French Golf

2. 2 Mai

3. Vama Veche

In Costinesti there is also a beach in the north part near the ship wich is the simbol of this resort, the beach is calling Epava but I don't recomand due to the stones or rock that you find in the water and the atmosphere is not so friendly , there are also people with swimsuite that are comming here. The water is not the best also, not like in Golf.

You really like Eforie as resort, for me is an interesting point of view as I will never recommand this for foreigners.

I didn't find anything strange in Eforie to dislike , the only strange i found is that we saw it driving from the main road and we stopped.

Eforie is too full of people, is a chaotic family city resort , young or old, but not for the real medium class, more for the crowd ...In old times the foreigners come hear especially the old one for health treatments ,quiet and for the green wich was everywere. But the resort was then more high class and doesn't look so ,,balcanik''. Now the grass is yellow or with buildings on it, and the cars are putting a pressure on the quality of the fresh air, also are a lot of stupid construction without a romanian style, even if the resort is calling after Carmen Silva (queen Elizabet of Romania).

The places that I just recomand you are less populated, in fact 2 Mai and Vama Veche are two quiet small villages, the first suitable for family with children, and Vama for teenagers and young people. The Golf in Costinesti is also near a resort, but is in a isolated places, the people come here walking or with the car if they want to stay in a tent. In Romania is not legaly to put your tent on the beach, but there are some places were the authorities are closing the eyes becouse the tradition is too strong.

Just imagine that: NATO border with nudist tents, were can you find so much liberty in Europe ?

Hello. I'm now in continesti. 

So far we have seen the south beach and yesterday was in Frenchman gulf where indeed the atmosphere was better.

Sad to admit that in Greece we are not so free as you.your beaches are near the textiles while we have to climb and to go to very far places . and not so crowdy.

I also. Like you are more noizy-party people.

Also the authorities do look for tents that's why I always go to legal paid campings.

My favorite is Platanitsi in Sarti where you can practice nudism normally.

BTW if you want to come to Greece (well the north Greece) I can help you with the beaches.

You should try ,,mici'' (smalls) which is a mixed between sheep meat and beef, or pork meat with beef, but only on coal barbecue becouse the taste is the best. Also you can look for the first option (sheep with beef), becouse is the traditional recipe and the taste is better than the ones with pork.

You can try also ,,tochitura dobrogeana cu mamaliga" (dobrogean stew with polenta) , ,, pastrama de oaie sau berbecut '' (smoked sheep or smoked lamb) or ,,sarmale'', if is available at the restaurants. I think is a good restaurant when you come from the north part of Costinesti to the south side, and is in the right part on the street that goes to Forum Hotel, maybe some 100 metters back. It;s a big barbecue just in the corner of the restaurant but I just can't remember the name.

Micii (smalls) are excelent with some romanian beer (Ciucas, Ciuc, Ursus, Silva, Timisoara), but the rest of the food is great to be served with some dobrogean (Dobrogea is the romanian name of the region were you are staying) wine, from Murfatlar , Macin or Ostrov.

Thanks to your information today we visited Vama Veche North beach.

We wanted to sit in the tavern , but it was full. it was about 14.00 . we will try again sometime in the week , we have time up to Friday.

The beach was crowdy indeed , young people , and the most funny is that nudism was practised even in front of the tavern. not many but interesting.

Then we stopped in 2 Mai we went to the gulf of nudists we though it was small enough,

but i must admit i saw some cars in the end of the road maybe there is another one beach after??

Finally we decided to try Eforie Sud which was familiar , and it got even better this time.

2 beachbars (prices high but anyway)  , when Golden Sands in BG was worse this year (the beachbar kept out of FKK , and the other camping i thing you said was gay , no sign of nudism , typical textile beachbar.)

Tomorrow Monday we will try Danude area.

ps. So far we were the only GR car in area , you come to Greece , we come to Romania.

The nudist beach in 2 Mai is in the southest side, last asphalt road to the left . You can notice ,manny tents RIGHT ON THE BEACH and the fish restaurant after.

I don't know what Danube are you trying, but keep it away from swimming in deep water, BECOUSE THE RIVER IS ALWAYS DANGEROUS.

I will recomend you instead two places near Constanta, one is Jurilovca , which is the cultural village in Romania for 2015, interesting to visit (for the old church, traditional food, the harbour and the old houses) and to eat some fresh fish (soup and others http://adevarul.ro/locale/tulcea/foto-serbare-delicioasa-bors-pescaresc-masa-jurilovca-1_54369e480d133766a8cd16ce/index.html becouse this is a russian comunity village lived by local fishermens.

From here you can take a boat trip to the second place which is Gura Portitei, a litlle resort between Danube Delta and Black See.  doesn't looked like in Bahamas or what ? Here is a nice beach but not really for nudists, but if you find some or a silent corner you can try. 

P.S. The food on the fish restaurant at Vama Veche(the one made by woods near the nudist beach) Is strongly recommended, becouse the fish is fresh from the Black Sea and made on barbecue with good vegetables. You should start with some white caviar, than try the food named ,,Rapane'' with garlic wich is excelent as taste, and after that ,,biban de mare'' or other fish from Black Sea (,,Chefal'' is very good), but you should look for the weight becouse sometimes the portion is too big for one person. And don't forget to ask for the garlic.

Today we went first to Vadu , after a not-so-good road we arrived in Vadu and after an old factory or so and countless unpaved roads we decided to turn back , we couldn't find the vadu beach.

Then we tried cordu , this time we found the beach near a military area , no sign of nudism there , there is too much wind , so we left today's swimming for (textile) Mamaia.

But the water was not either good in mamaia and instead we decided to use the day for exploring Kostanza,

where we tried tochitura dobrogeana cu mamaliga and pastrama de oaie sau berbecut as you suggested.

the first one was familiar taste to a greek recipe , the latter was a new taste indeed.

My friend really liked the tavern in Vama Veche , we will surely go again to try it  this time we hope to find a free space, and we will indeed try your recommendations.
